KKBKeith Posted yesterday at 08:41 AM Share Posted yesterday at 08:41 AM (edited) Hello Everyone, I'm brand new to this software & am still finding my way through. I'm in Home Designer Pro 2025 (v. 26.3.0.10/Windows 10) & I'm working on a condo remodel in a multi story building that has a small closet for the air handler that needs to sit atop a 4" wood framed shelf, open below & finishes @ 18" above the floor. Can someone explain a good way to do this that doesn't interfere with the other framing structure around it? All walls surrounding this closet are 96" plate height, standard 3 1/2" studs with 1/2" wallboard on both sides. Thanks in advance for any advice. Solution y-g-m-n Posted 11 hours ago Solution Share Posted 11 hours ago why bother? Ignore framing not a big deal. but I would just put a tick shelf in there if you must.
KKBKeith
@y-g-m-n, Thanks for the reply, I came to this conclusion myself after pulling out what's left of my hair trying to do it structurally correct.
