rurorelroy 0 Posted April 20, 2015 how would you create this in home designer suite 2016?
DavidJPotter 201 Posted April 20, 2015 The last time I designed a stair lift, I found one at 3D Warehouse, downloaded it and then imported it into my plan file. I do not recall seeing a curved stair one (mine was straight). There is no such object extant elsewhere that I know of. So outside of that, use your imagination. rurorelroy 0 Posted April 20, 2015 sorry i did a poor job of explaining. i have a symbol from the 3d warehouse for the chair. what i need to know is how to create the lift rail along the curved staircase. "use your imagination" is a poor idea given the advantage of this software is to model in 3d. if i wanted to just use my imagination i wouldnt have got the software in the first place. thanks
Kbird1 158 Posted April 20, 2015 try a curved stair railing altered to your specs for height/panel type etc...
katalyst777 707 Posted April 20, 2015 If your version allows railings to follow stairs, you could create one with a lower railing height and balusters close together to get pretty close to modeling this. Also, there's a chair lift already available in one of the bonus catalogs.
