Object Information % sign use?

In the wall specification amongst other items is at the bottom of the list an item 'Object Information'....

Already filled in under the Description item is %automatic_description%..

Now I gather the % sign entrys define something - - but it's unfamiliar language to me;

Where  can I get an understanding of this information entry?

Does anyone care to offer some instruction on what and how it all works please?

It looks like a powerful use of whatever it is using and I am interested in the application to material lists.

From previous questions - materials lists are low on the list of interest? (Or so it seems, I may be wrong.)

Is there a technical use of the % sign in object info. that CA users generally are aware of?

Little on offer in reference manual.

Solver had sent me a sheet once of the different items you can put inside the % signs. I use it for my windows as %width%x%height% so it shows the unit dimensions as width x height. I'll find it and post it tomorrow
