dantappin
Can't seem to figure this out. I have a couple of bump outs and the terrain is missing under them.
solver
Select the Terrain and see the Edit Toolbar -- or right click the Terrain Perimeter and see the same thing. Also, help the helpers by completing your forum signature. Signature Knowing what title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using is key to providing the best response. Something like Pro 2023, or Architectural 2018 is all that's needed. Since this is the Home Designer forum, no need to include that, or anything about Chief Architect. Please don't comment saying you included that info in your post, and please do not make another comment saying what you have, instead, place this info in your Signature so it's always available by clicking on your user name (or the 3 bars) at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. Read about that in Help, or just click it and see what happens.
dantappin Posted yesterday at 03:52 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 03:52 AM Clicking on it did nothing. This is no where to be found in the app help or the online knowledge base.
Jo_Ann Posted yesterday at 05:18 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:18 AM Instead of doing it the correct way, why not just do it the easy way, by hiding it. Put a soffit or slab at ground level, and give it the grass material.
dantappin
Slab does "cover" the hole except you can't make a slab follow terrain. No settings I can see to add a soffit at ground level or do this "correct way" (what is the correct way?)

dantappin
I figured out the terrain hold poly line thing and it still didn't fix. Then I watched your video (a second time with sound on) and the light bulb went off. I just bumped the room out as an over hang from the basement foundation assuming that this was ok - clearly not. I added a random box bay window and the issue does not repeat. Good post for the next person that does this. I then discovered that I had multiple terrain holes over top of each other - once I deleted them all I am good to go now.
