Can I remove material painter from the wall?

I added it to the wall by clicking Material Painter and applying.

I couldn't just undo it, as the file had been closed and reopened.

I figured out how to get it removed by looking more into Wall Specification, Materials.

I originally selected Wall Specification, Wall Covering.

By choosing the Wall Specification, Materials, the Interior Wall Surface Said, "No Change."

So, I selected it and changed it back to Drywall.

Success!

Thanks for your help.

Hey, so does it mean it's better not to use Wall Covering? Or did you later reapply Wall Covering?

wall covering is meant for wall paper or maybe rooms with different horizontal colors.

like tan from chair rail down and off-white above.

Tile on wall should eb done with CUSTOM BACKSPLASH so you account for thickness

OR

make a NEW WALL DEFINITION with tile being applied to drywall or backer board or the orange Dietrich water proof membrane.

Probably other ways to cheat system and make pretty 3d models - as there are a lot of flat objects you can stick onwall and change thickness and material to be tile.

flat mirrors, cabinet partitions, 3D shapes on and on.

but I think custom backsplash is best
