mdag28
I want to add a rowlock brick edge to the top part of a brick base like the rowlock.png shows. The attached plan file and brick.png has the brick base and a column. I want the top row of bricks to be oriented for a rowlock. Is this something that can be done? DavidJPotter
Use a Base Cabinet for the base of the column. Turn off the toe kick and make the front a blank area. Change the counter top thickness to about 3". Then assign a regular running brick course to the base cabinet and assign a soldier course brick that matches the running bond brick below. In Pro the brick material choices can be found in the Library Browser-Materials-Masonry & Brick - Brick. DJP
mdag28
Thank you DJP! This works pretty well and simulates what I'm trying to do.
Jo_Ann
I think it's easier to use a soffit for the base. Size it correctly, and plop it down. A soffit also works better for the soldier brick course. Use the rainbow tool if the x / y position needs to be altered. The soldier course will now look correct on all four sides.
