Problem with lights

For some reason, the lights that I use in my project do not work (they do not turn on, even when I switch to phisically based rendering techniques). Could sb please tell me what is causing this problem and how to fix it?  I'm new to this program, I only watched 2h worth of training materials.  I'm using Home designer pro 2021.

*** I see you said Pro 2021 ***

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Unless you have changed something, they should be on.

For questions like this, it's helpful to have the plan file to troubleshoot.

Close Pro and attach for the best help.

I didn't see an attached plan, yet check what the materials are for the lights themselves in the item's settings. It's one of those things that started in the 2020 release where they didn't always default on, even with the setting be told to do so. When you open the materials, go to the "bulb" and make sure it's set with "lighting white" or whichever one you want to use. When it's been changed, it should then show.
