HangarGuy
I am designing a 60'X60'X16'6" private aircraft hangar. Roof pitch 4 in 12 full gable end. The problem I'm having is with the office area in the back. I need those interior walls to define the office, bath and utility/mechanical rooms to have an 8' ceiling and to have joists in the ceiling to create a mezzanine storage area on top of that area. That is where the stairs go ... up to the storage area. Have tried the help search tool, looked at a lot of videos, but have not found a way to disconnect the interior wall height from the default wall height for the exterior walls . . . the exterior walls need to be 16'6" tall. Every time I set the office area to be "normal" ceiling height, the exterior walls are also reduced. Any suggested links, videos, tips and techniques would be appreciated Thanks in advance

solver
Open the office/bath etc rooms and on the Structure panel, check Shelf Ceiling. Make sure they have the shorter ceiling height too.
