How to model floor edges

Recommended Posts

I am modeling a brownstone two flat.  How do I adjust the external material of the 1st and 2nd floor to look like what is shown in the attached photo rather than having it stay all brick?

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Suggestions in order of best to worst.

Look at using a Pony Wall with the different material on the top or bottom section (not sure which will work).

A Wall Covering might also work.

A Custom Backsplash (or soffit, or slab) could also work. A slab you can draw in plan, making it thin and wrapping around the building.
