Donco15
I ALSO WATCHED all the videos on home designer pro for dimensions... I also watched the ones for chief architect.. the chief architect has a button layout for NKBA.. I get that.. But I see from the sample plan I sent earlier, I should be able to do this in home designer pro.. not as simple as chief architect.. But I can still get a look for the dimensions that I am looking for.. I HAVE LOOKED ONLINE UNDER SUPPORT REFERENCE AND THEY SHOW SOMETHING FROM 2014.. IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE OVER FOR ME.. THERE IS SOMETHING THAT I AM MISSING.. I WENT TO THE 3D AND CREATE ORTHOGRAPHIC VIEW AND WALL ELEVATION I WENT TO CAD - THEN TO DIMENSIONS... THERE SEEMS TO BE NOTHING THAT SHOWS HOW TO GET THOSE DIMENSIONS AND HASH MARKS LIKE ON THE SAMLE PLAN WHEN USING HOME DESIGNER PRO I HAVE CHANGED THE UNITS IN DIMENSION DEFAULTS AREA TOO I KNOW THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS NOT HARD.. I JJST DO NOT KNOW WHAT STEPS I AM MISSING THANKS IN ADVANCE D

Donco15
thanks for the responses... I have marked up the first diagram that I sent and put my questions on it... basically, I want to know how to make this drawing.. I have tried and my dimensions look nothing like this one.. Joann I have followed the link you sent … before I sent the first question... something is missing in my program.. I can't make my elevation dimensions look like the one in the demo.. I know that it must be something that I need to turn on... but I do not know what it is.. Thanks for any advice.. D-

Jo_Ann
If you don't want to see the diagonal dashed lines on the cabinets, turn off "opening indicators" in the display options. P.S. Please turn OFF your caps in your post text. It is considered to be "shouting".
