447Debbie
How do I turn off the display of these surveyor bearings? I can't see to find it under Tools, Display... See attached image. The dimensions in the red and green boxes are what I'm trying to turn off.
solver
When you select them, the layer they are on is displayed in the status bar. They may be on a generic layer with other things you don't want to turn off, so you could try changing the text to be white and very small, for example. 447Debbie
Thanks. That's a good start. Now I know they're on the CAD layer. I didn't even know that before. But, now I don't see a text option for the CAD layer. Do you know how I can get to that?
solver
Can you open the item itself? Select it and Control-E. If so, there should be options there. I imagine there are other items on that layer that you do not want to change, so you probably don't want to make a change at the layer level. 447Debbie
I can't select or open the text itself. I can only open the line that it's describing. But when I open the line, it doesn't have any option for text style. You're right, if I turn off the CAD layer, then my setback lines go away. 447Debbie
What I ended up doing is I turned off the CAD layer long enough so the text would go away. Then I was able to join my walls. Then I turned the CAD layer back on. My biggest issue is that it was covering up a point where two walls had to join and I couldn't see the join area. Turning off the CAD display got that accomplished. Sure would be nice to be able to edit that text, though I was able to work around it.
karoolakid
I thought the various text sizes were individually established in the defaults?
