Eric2016
How do I build a roof where the gable end walls extend above the roof? (I'm not sure what this type of roof is called) I've attached a photo showing the result I am trying to get.
katalyst777
Easy to do in Pro, but anything less, just set the overhang for the gable ends to be very small and see if you can get away with using a resized Isometric Wedge from the Shapes folder in the Library. Eric2016
Thanks for your reply. I am using Pro 2017. How would you suggest doing it? I've tried a few things but I can't get it to look right.
Eric2016
I'm using a manual roof and drawing a wall on the attic floor. However I can't figure out how to slope the wall.
solver
Take an exterior elevation of the end wall. Select the wall. Use the break tool (3 on keyboard or icon) to break the wall polyline as needed. Use the handles to shape it. Once the first is done, copy/reflect to duplicate it on the other end.
Eric2016
That worked! Thanks a lot - never would have discovered this on my own.
