I'm not a professional, so I'd like to know, before purchasing, if it is possible to import a floor plan to use as a guideline instead of building by scratch. I have in mind to buy a new apartment, so my idea is to start from an existing floor plan. I enclose a sample picture. If this is possible, what kind of file should it be? (jpeg, pdf, dxf.....) 43214321 Posted April 1, 2016 Share Posted April 1, 2016 I do this all the time . . . Start a new scaled plan, click on file / import / picture, pick your .jpg file, insert, and then scale for size. DavidJPotter Posted April 1, 2016 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Pro allows image imports (.tiff, .jpg, .png, .bmp) and will handle .dxf imports (not .dwg) and several other file types but not all possible types.
