warrenwest
Hi, I have a strage problem. As you can see from the attachments I have 3 R4 ceiling lights clearly visible in plan view. However in 3D view ( any ) only the one on the left is visible. Huh?
solver
Post the plan. You can use Edit>Edit Area> Edit Area (All Floors) to copy the area around the lights into a new plan if you wish.

solver
As I suspected the lights are hidden by a soffit.Drop them down 150mm.
warrenwest
Easy when you know how huh? Thanks Eric. I can't help but wonder how that happened though. Things were perfect last night and I was done with it. Moved on to other areas today only to discover that problem. I haven't altered any ceiling heights or even played with the sofits until now. Glitch or user error? Thanks again.
LeilaLaskujarvi
Just wondering if this still happens to you? I have had the same issue with undercabinet type lighting (and lights that are turned on but not lighting anything). They are all at the same height but some of them don't show up in my 3D plans or elevations but are there on the plan. If this is a Home Designer glitch, they should fix it ASAP (it's now 2018). Does anyone know why this happens?
