Hannahobday
Hi everyone I have just started Home Designer Pro 2016, and my problem is I can not turn off the automatic dimension EXTERIOR tool, I only want the internal measurements to be displayed and not the exterior, but I seem to get both. Never had this before. Can anyone help? Many thanks. /Hanna
DavidJPotter
In the Display Options dialog you can control whether or not ANYTHING shows or not by checking or unchecking "Disp" in the dialog. That dialog is found under "Tools" Menu "Display Options". Read the Reference Manual section that describes it as it is key to visual control of all objects per view type. DJP
katalyst777
David's method only turns off the display of existing dimensions. It doesn't delete them or stop them from updating. Instead . . .Edit> Default Settings> Dimension> Auto Exterior Dimension DefaultsUncheck Auto Refresh DimensionsClick OK Then, Edit> Delete Objects> All Floors> check Automatic Dimensions then click the Delete button and Done to actually get rid of them.Or just select one of the auto dimensions and click on Delete. It will prompt you asking if you want to turn off the Auto feature and you can choose Yes and only get rid of the dimensions you want.
