marianne00
I'm new to this software so bear with me... I'm trying to adjust one wall height. Only thing i can find on adjusting wall height is by selecting the entire room, which adjusts all the wall heights. i have this wall between a closet and bedroom. Bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, closet has a flat. I just want to drop this wall down so that i can center that arch window in the roof peak. Can someone help me? y-g-m-n Posted yesterday at 07:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 07:46 AM that window is on the attic wall or 2nd storey? Room definitions are where you set room ceiling heights. This dictates wall height and your framing defaults etc. but wall height is so Joists can sit up on top and sheetrock hand underneath, and you get the ceiling height you entered. You are trying to make wall taller to extend up into another level. Just adjust floor level you are working on and then add a wall which will build on top of the joists. For vaulted you do that in room definition as well and set no ceiling over room and it will make room the underside of rafters or you can enter ceiling planes. Rookie65
Or you can also draw a "ceiling plane" for the bedroom wall to have the vault be just over the bedroom, and the roof will be over the entire house and you can center the window in the attic.
