how to remove old terrain line

I have Home Designer 9.0

My plan view still shows the black outline of an old terrain boundry.

it cannot be selected.

it is just the black outline, it does not show in camera or any other 3d view.

does anyone know of a way to make it go away???

sounds like it maybe on a locked layer so you can't select it,... check in your Display Options DBX  , perhaps its an old CAD Line Or Polyline?

 

or post the plan so someone can look at it for you

Mick, I believe only Home Designer Pro has the ability to "lock layers" (does he have Pro 9?)

 

The best thing to do is to share a copy of the plan file with us, so we can take a look directly.

not sure about Pro David it was the only reason I could think of for not being able to select something, but looking at the plan might help .

i do not have "Pro".

an older version called Home Designer 9.0

i do have a current "terrain"   

but the older one with an odd shaped perimeter

still shows it black outline.

You can only have 1 terrain perimeter in a plan, so the line is probably something else?  Post the plan and we'll take a look.

I have all Home Designer titles back to version 7, if you would like to share that file with me and tell me exactly which version 9 title you have, I will take a look, without the plan file in the same version you are using, all anyone can do is guess.

In Version 9 there was one called just HD David , it was the version below Suite and should be version 9.6.1.1 according to the Update page
