  1. solver gave instructions on how to build the 2nd floor, they were not followed. There's nothing that can be done in the attic, it's just open space.

That was not a difficult roof to build, you build the 2nd floor, gable the side walls and lower the ceiling height to 0", then turn off auto rebuild roofs

and reset the roof to it's default ceiling height.

In your plan the side walls and interior walls were attic, which caused the 2nd floor not to build, Attic wall are not used to build rooms or floors.

  2. I just looked at the plan, There's no 1st floor, everything is built on the 2nd floor to include the foundation.. As for the roof I just clicked on it and clicked delete

It disappeared. Something about the plan is not right.

  3. That's what was confusing, you wanted a flat roof, the plan you uploaded is a shed roof.

    Click    Build>roof>build roof>roof styles..

  4. Go to the site and download the Bonus Tile catalog, apply the hex tile to the floor or wall, to get the color you want, pick a color you want, apply it to a wall then open the material definition tool and click on the color, click select, write down the numbers for that color.

Use the material definition tool to do the same for the tile, use the numbers that you wrote down and click blend color and texture.

To get the size you want change the X and Y numbers.

    roof

Sure can,  click>edit>default settings>roofs and set the pitch to 6" and then click on each side wall and set the pitch to 12".

  5. Use half walls and set the height to 120" then click>rail style>panels, check post to rail and uncheck raise bottom rail/panel.

Click Materials>Panel and change it to glass.

  6. What I don't get is this, according to you Jo_Ann fixed the plan, so how did it become unfixed? auto roof was turned off and somehow these problems

came up. When you turn auto rebuild roofs off, you don't move the exterior walls, vaulted ceilings are created by gabeling the walls and removing the

the ceiling, soffits are not used to create a vaulted ceiling, problems are being created because things are being done that's not needed, an example

is the fireplace, there's no reason to build it like that, click>build >fireplace and open it's specification box and change the numbers.

Reset the roof by turning auto rebuild On all the issues will disappear and DO NOT move those external walls.

  7. Why didn't you use the material painter tool?

You open the the plan and click 3d and choose the view you want then click >Window > tile vertically, the display will be in 2d and in 3d views, the Icons will show

    up only in 3d view.

    C is for Component

    O is for Object

    R is for Room

    F is for Floor

    P is for Plan

  8. Why do you have all of your exterior walls checked as foundation?, your telling  the software the first floor is the foundation.

Uncheck foundation for all your exterior walls make the default setting for the foundation to monolithic slab, then do as Jo_Ann suggested.

At the Laundry room, use the break wall tool for the top and bottom walls and make those walls interior and gable the bottom wall.

  9. Got it, but still I don't think it will be built that way, you have the Pro version of the software which can build the house

    to how it will look.

Take a relook at the pics that were uploaded, you have two different default settings.

Is this how the pool will look? If so,  make the pool a standalone, rename to slab and drop the floor to how deep you the want

the pool to be. Use a box shape and make it the size of the pool and raise the height to where you want it and add the water

    material.
