  1. You're terrain perimeter is set to over 1100"?     With that you will have raise your floor heights for the 1st floor and the ceiling heights for the 2nd floor

Go to edit>default settings>floor and raise to 144",  for the second floor raise to 108". The roof for the office needs the bottom wall set to full gable and

the left bathroom wall set high shed/gable wall.  You  may need to download a trial version HD software.

  2. There's 2 ways to do that....

First:   Draw a 1st floor and make 2 rooms and gable the side walls, then build a second floor and draw a wall to make separate rooms, lower the

right room or raise the left room. On the 2nd floor move the front walls of both rooms and make them knee walls and then lower the pitch on the back

    walls.

Second:  Don't use knee walls on the second floor, move the front walls up until the 1st floor roof appears. Go to the 1st floor and raise the pitch to 12 or so

    on the front walls.

Last:  Use different pitches and ceiling heights to get the look you want.

The 1st pic is a saltbox with knee walls, the second one is without knee walls.....

  3. Use the material definition tool, then click on the material, click solid color and jot down the numbers for that color.

Click on the material you want change and click on blend color and texture>color and change the numbers to what you wrote down.

  4. Without knowing what HD software you are using and just from the pics alone.  I'd say build a 2nd floor and gable the roofs, create an entry on the 1st floor and

gable the side walls, the room above the entry is not gabled.

  5. Is this what you are trying do?

Build a room and rename it Porch, use the doorway tool for the walls, then click the rail tool and draw a rail(s) open its specification box

and click "no room definition" and place into the doorway. To change the floor finish, open the Porch room specification box and change the floor

finish to a 1/2" or so and then change the material.

Next, build a 2nd floor, and use the rail tool to create a room, and rename it balcony...
