  1. The reason that part of the roof would not gable, is because you have two different ceiling heights. The Office and the Garage has

different ceiling heights, make them the same. Make the office side walls full gable and the front wall(s) high shed.

  2. In addition to the video, the floor finish (K) is not the floor, click the default for the floor finish.

On the left wall, use the break wall tool on the main wall, slide it back and delete the small room divider wall, then

    slide the main back.

  3. Turn auto rebuild roofs on, then un- gable all the 2nd floor interior walls, there's no need to gable them, the side walls gables

    the room.

Change the floor finish to the defaults on the 2nd floor, that way the ceiling heights will be the same.

The room names are incorrect, there's room types that are storage but the room name is attic/open below with doors?

Delete the stair landings on the 1st and 2nd floor and use soffits instead.

When you use Open below without ceilings the 2nd floor ceiling heights(B) is what the 1st floor ceiling heights will be.

On the 1st floor create the terrain perimeter, you will see an issue there.

Rebuild the foundation, then you can change the floor height (D), you can't change the floor structure for the garage or the main house.

    Tilted

There's no need to upgrade for what you want to do.

The plan has some problems, one which is the roof is built wrong.

There something that's causing the software to zoom and rotate incorrectly.

    Do a plan check....

    Here's something you may use.

  4. Is this what you trying to do?

I lowered the third floor ceiling height to 0"

The second floor ceiling height to 88"

Created a second floor over the Kitchen and lowered the ceiling height to 27"

The Pitch on the Porch is 3" There was no need for knee walls.

Turned off Auto rebuild roofs and checked the Default ceiling heights.

  5. Two ways to get this,

Buy the bonus catalog from the site.

Use the room divider tool to create a room, name the room "slab" , gable the side walls and lower the floor to -25" or lower.

  6. 447Debbie,

Walls that are out of alignment, is the least thing you should be concerned with, That plan needs to be rebuilt from scratch, let

the software do the work for you, Porches, Garages, Balconies and Slabs are excluded by Default, you don't have to tell the program

to do so. This is not a sophisticated or difficult floor plan, it's simple and easy to built.

I could not figure out why you have the terrain perimeter at 23616" and elevation lines at 23520 etc:??

Use elevation regions about 2 to 4, instead of elevation lines, the regions are easier to control than the lines.

You have Furniture and Fixture outside of house? you know that adds to the size of the plan.

  7. Open a plan in 2018, click Library>Import library  find Home Designer Pro Data 2018 on your hard drive, click on Database libraries, you should see    user library.calib
