I use Home Designer Pro 2021 and am having this problem. See attached, as I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the material choice just right. When I select concrete as a color for the sidewwalk shown, I get this graphic mess showing up. What is my problem ? I have added the information on my graphics card / drivers. What is wrong here and how do I fix it ? 1287753397_info1.thumb.jpg.bde73bcc088bb526dc2d23e7bfe64d51.jpg

Hello,

Back in Home Designer Pro 2021 there was a setting called “Texture Compression” that remedied behavior similar to what you show in your screenshot.

This can be enabled by going to Edit> Preferences> Render> and checking the Texture Compression checkbox. Once you’ve done this, click OK, and generate a new camera view.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue I would recommend updating your video card driver. It looks like Intel released a newer driver for the Intel Celeron N5095 CPU on 12/19/2024.

Here is a link to Intel’s website for the latest driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/776137/intel-7th-10th-gen-processor-graphics-windows.html

After updating the driver, reboot your computer, and see if the behavior continues in your camera views.

If this still doesn’t resolve the issue I would recommend going through the steps in this article: https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00897/troubleshooting-3d-camera-view-display-problems-in-home-designer.html

I hope this helps!

Well, I've done all of the recommended ideas and still no luck, I believe my computer just can not handle the graphics . . . ugh ! However, when I scroll into a design in 3D view the closer I get to the material it comes into proper view, how weird ? Scroll out and it turns into gobble dee guk !!
