Vent holes in cabinet doors

Is there a way to show vent holes in cabinet doors in the 3D view? I'm wanting to do something like this on a pantry and I can't find a door style anywhere that has anything like this. I know it's not common, but I would like to do this. I might just have to draw it in on the elevation. I anyone knows another way, please let me know.DF4D0B35-F02C-4B65-8138-4724143BDA60_1_201_a.thumb.jpeg.2f2d3f15e390eb57ec21bd6d81310235.jpeg

You haven't said how you put it on the elevation view. Did you use a cad shape?

If you use a custom backsplash, it will show in a 3D view, but of course it won't cut a hole in the cabinet.

That does sound like a lot of work! Probably more than I want to do right now. And yes, I did those shapes on the elevation with a CAD shape and copy & paste. I think for now, my solution will be to have them on the elevation and put a picture on the layout sheet for the cabinet maker. Thanks Jo_Ann!

not sure if it will work but might if you set the material for whatever you added to door to look like hole OPENING (NO MATERIAL) under

HOME DESIGNER CORE CATALOGS

     MATERIALS

            INSULATION

Not sure it will work but easy enough to try
