Sheila
Hello, I have Home Designer Pro 2024. I'd like to visualize home plans on a sloped lot. I made a file with the terrain (lot lines, elevation, and building envelope) and another plan file with a draft home. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to most effectively work with the house on the terrain. I'd like to be able see how the house looks in different orientations within the building envelope on this sloped lot, and would appreciate any tips on how to most effectively do this. y-g-m-n
add lot to house plan. Make a few copies by SAVEAS command. Then in each copy move and rotate lot info to get the different looks you want. Or rotate and move house - but when done Grabe everything and rotate so front of house is pointing DOWN in plan view.
scottharris
There are two sample plans with sloped lots you might take a look at to see how they were done. Chief Architect Sample Plans: Grandview Lake Point They are Chief Architect plans; you may want to download the trial version to review them. Most of this can be done in Home Designer Pro.
