Remove roof soffit? Expose rafter tails.

I can't seem to figure out how to build a roof without the automatic soffit.

 

How do I remove the soffit so the rafter tails are exposed?

The Home Designer website is full of articles and videos telling and showing how to do many common operations.

Starting your search there is always best as that search also (optionally) searches here too.

 

I imagine a search for tails or exposed would be a good start.

 

The built in program help can also helpful.
