GeoffW Posted March 22, 2023 Share Posted March 22, 2023 When I edit the structure of a room or floor I can manually change the ceiling finish to 1/2", but the default remains 5/8". I'm mainly using 1/2" drywall, so I've looked everywhere to try and figure out where to actually change that default, but can't find it. I've looked through all parts of the program (including every page of the "defaults" section), the Reference Manual, the online Knowledge Base and the discussion forums, but no luck. Is it perhaps hard-coded for 5/8", or maybe only an option in higher versions of the software (I have Architectural 2023)? Maybe I'm just dull and missing it. Thanks in advance for any help. DavidJPotter Posted March 22, 2023 Share Posted March 22, 2023 Open "Edit - Default Settings - Floors and Rooms - First floor Defaults" then uncheck "Default" by the ceiling finish input box.
