AudunA
Hi Why is the wall framing shown in the window. I have tried placing it both in atic and 2.nd floor. Garybills
I downloaded your plan and unchecked attic wall on that wall, and it reframed it correctly.

Rookie65
You can check your framing defaults to see if you have auto rebuild walls checked or not. That is often the culprit
AudunA
Thank you very much. That solved some of the problems I have had. But when I added the complete window layout I still get an issue on the middel windows. Any suggestion to fix this as well? Garybills
The windows are splitting two walls and the framing you’re seeing now is the 2nd floor wall which is really short. I’m not sure what’s going on with that.
AudunA
I experimented with the horizontal spacing of the larged squared windows on the 2nd floor and it looks like that are affecting the behaviour. I will keep experimenting to see if I can find the solution. Audun
AudunA
The strage thing is that if I remove one of the squared windows in the 2nd floor the problem disapears.
Garybills
I’m not at my computer now, but you might try grabbing the bottom of the upper wall and pulling it down below the windows.
Garybills
That’s strange
AudunA
Pulling down the wall did not resolve it.

I selected all the upper windows in an elevation view and copied them. deleted the wall with the windows, grabbed the top of the short wall and pulled up to the ridge. then in plan view went to edit toolbar, paste hold position to put the windows back in the wall. break the top of the wall at the ridge and pull the ends down below the roof.
