Help...I created my basement plans on the first floor!

Good evening!

I'm using Home Designer Suite 2020, version 21.3.1.1x64. I opened up the software and got to work creating my basement with cement walls, wood framing, doors, etc. When I finished, I realized that I had created the plan as a first-floor plan. How can I convert this to a basement plan (hopefully without having to perform all my work again)?

Thank you!

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

It does not really matter what floor your basement is drawn on.

The standard is to start by drawing the first floor walls, then automatically build the foundation, but people place the basement on floor 1 all the time.

Are you drawing an entire house, or just the basement level.

Thanks for the reminder; I just updated my signature to reflect my Home Designer version.

My initial intent was just the basement (as I'm preparing floor plans for a building permit process as it's currently unfinished). I may add the other floors down the road as part of a future remodel, which is what prompted my question.
