Beetlejuice
Good evening! I'm using Home Designer Suite 2020, version 21.3.1.1x64. I opened up the software and got to work creating my basement with cement walls, wood framing, doors, etc. When I finished, I realized that I had created the plan as a first-floor plan. How can I convert this to a basement plan (hopefully without having to perform all my work again)? Thank you!

The standard is to start by drawing the first floor walls, then automatically build the foundation, but people place the basement on floor 1 all the time. Are you drawing an entire house, or just the basement level.
Beetlejuice
Thanks for the reminder; I just updated my signature to reflect my Home Designer version. My initial intent was just the basement (as I'm preparing floor plans for a building permit process as it's currently unfinished). I may add the other floors down the road as part of a future remodel, which is what prompted my question.
solver
You could build your foundation (basement) then use Edit>Edit Area to Cut what's on floor 1, and Paste/Hold Position onto level 0.
