solver
*** I see you said Home Designer Pro 2020 *** Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. ---- Many questions have been asked and answered. The Home Designer website is a good place to start your search. Here is a video about searching the forum: https://youtu.be/dDT6wbrrVRM Resources for self help: The built in Help System (always a good place to start) Getting Started Knowledge Base YouTube Home Designer - Getting Started - Setting Preferences and Defaults
solver
Pretty dumb, isn't it. Moldings are associated with rooms, so for a wall to get automatic moldings, it needs to be one of the walls that define a room. One workaround is to use a Custom Countertop drawn in the shape of the wall. Add your moldings to it.
AccentBill
Great idea! Thanks. I'm surprised I haven't though of this with all the other work arounds i've learned over the years. Quick question, any idea why my lighting goes on and off while working on my 3d views? Thanks again.
