Connecting Walkthrough Paths

I am having troubles creating a walkthrough path. I can make camera 1 and camera 2 but as soon as I want to make another spline line they will not connect and a new camera shows as 1 when I would like it to connect to the first line and be camera 3. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Many questions have been asked and answered. The Home Designer website is a good place to start your search.

Here is a video about searching the forum: https://youtu.be/dDT6wbrrVRM

  • 2 months later...

I had the same issue and You Tube did not help.  After much searching in the online help I found "Object Snaps".  It needs to be "On" when you create your Walkthrough path.

On the main menu bar use "Edit" > "Snap Settings" > "Object Snaps"  or you can use "Shift S".

Hope this helps!
