arthur17crusader 0 Posted February 10, 2015 You can either use a cube from shapes or paint the molding invisible (CoreCatalog -> Materials -> Misc -> Opening (No Material))

Kenny_Lundback 0 Posted July 5, 2015 You can either use a cube from shapes or paint the molding invisible (CoreCatalog -> Materials -> Misc -> Opening (No Material)) If i try and paint the mold then all the molds in the same room become invisible (using the component option). Trying to make a custom rail to a staircase.
Kbird1 158 Posted July 5, 2015 why not use the Railing Tool and change things there , instead of making your own? I can't tell from pic what you are trying to do sorry try a Slab , not a soffit if you are using soffits , soffits will take room moldings if they touch room moldings I think. Kenny_Lundback 0 Posted July 5, 2015 custom railing for staircase and that was the first object i made. How can i make the railing lean upwards to the next floor?
Kbird1 158 Posted July 5, 2015 I am not sure you can in HD Software , except with Sloped soffits , as you cannot manipulate/rotate objects in elevation. would need to provide more info and perhaps the plan , you may have no choice but sloped soffits if you want to angle it and allpy a molding to the edge so it looks like a traditional handrail , but then again the Railing tool can do that...
