Dutch Gabled Roof

I have Home Designer Architect and can't figure out how to add a dutch gabled roof to an L-shaped home with front porch.  The auto tool created multiple roof lines because the house footprint isn't a simple rectangle like the online training.  Ugh...so frustrated. :-(

*** I see you said Architect (Architectural) ***

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Start a new plan. Draw a rectangular structure and put a dutch gable roof on it. If you can do that, you can do your house.

Add the master bedroom to the rectangle. The roof will change -- you will need to break the long wall and set the master bedroom part you just added back to a hip wall.
