Roof Issues

My Roof keeps rendering with a weird elevated center section.  I have tried all manner of things to get a gable roof with what are essentially dormers on the front of the house to no avail.  I am new to the software and I am sure it is a setting I'm oblivious to but I was hoping someone could point me in the correct direction.  I have also attached pictures of the general look I am trying to achieve, but as you can see it does not join properly.

I believe I have my signature turned on but if its not showing, I am using HDPro 2021.

Thanks!

*** I see you said Pro 2021 ***

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Try lowering the ceiling in the space between the gables, or raising the ceiling everywhere else.

Roofs build over rooms and are generally controlled via ceiling heights. You may need to create rooms that do not match the plan to make the roof build, then turn off auto rebuild roofs.

Or, learn the manual roof tools and make it look correct using them.
