DanatCV
Is there any way to create a doorway that has a drywall wrapped opening? When I remove the jamb from the doorway, the framing studs are exposed instead of applying drywall to cover them.
solver
Did you add a paint layer to your wall definition?

solver
That's the problem. Remove that layer and create a new drywall material in the color of your choice.
DanatCV
I'll give that a try. As always, thanks a million Eric. Your assistance is truly appreciated!
DanatCV
Eric, I removed the paint layer from my wall types in my default settings and made sure the subject wall does not have the paint layer, but the problem still exists. Thereafter I tried rebuilding walls after removing the jamb in the "doorway" settings but the results are the same as in my original picture. Additionally, removing the paint layer resulted in the wall framing moving out beyond the drywall plane, making them visible in 3D. Suggestions? DanatCV
That did the trick, however removing the paint layer from the wall type causes the wall framing to center on the outer plane of the wall, thereby exposing all of the framing. I'll make sure on future projects not to add a paint layer to the wall types so this doesn't happen again. On this project, I'll simply show the jamb in 3D views but removing them from the plan and material list. Thanks for your quick and professional reply!
