jmshepherd 0 Posted February 19 I am looking to open up under stairway. How do I cut the wall out to follow the bottom of the stairway. At this point Im using a doorway without casing or jamb, if I could reshape this doorway top, that would be the answer. I dont want to expose the stairway. solver 630 Posted February 19 Answers like this one depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. ---- Resources for self help: The built in Help System (always a good place to start) Getting Started Knowledge Base YouTube Home Designer - Getting Started - Setting Preferences and Defaults Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/s-TcAHsiMjg?hd=

When you edit a post, like to add a picture, it does not show up in the forum as changed. Anyway, see if this helps.

jmshepherd 0 Posted February 22 This doesnt work in my version of HomeDesigner Pro 2021. When I create the pony wall I only show two handles in elevation view. One in the top center and one in the bottom center.

jmshepherd 0 Posted February 24 Do you know if I updated to the 2021 program when it came out if possibly they updated the program after that and that might be the issue??
solver 630 Posted February 24 You can check for program updated via the Help menu. But I don't believe that's the problem. And you don't need to use a Pony Wall. That's just one way to cover the bottom of the wall. You could use a Sloped Soffit, or just use a wall that's solid drywall like I show.
