Sante Fe style roof

Recommended Posts

I have Designer Pro 2021. I am creating the plans for building a guest house. I am trying to figure out how to draw the roof. The building is basically 3 rectangles side by side with the short ends to the front. The center rectangle should be about 4' higher than the other 2. Its roof will be a low slop with a center hip shedding water right and left on to the adjacent 2 rectangles. The front wall of the center section will be flat across the top about 1' higher than the hip so the entire roof line is hidden from the front.

Then for the rectangles on the right and left of the center section, they will be low slopes running right and left respectively. Both of these walls will be hidden from front view by a low flat topped wall.

Can anyone tell me how to do this.

*** I see you said Pro 2021 ***

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

No idea what you want to do.

Give it your best effort, then post a couple of screen captures so we have something to discuss.
