Sqare the but end of an angled half wall to a full height wall

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I couldn't find anything in the forums.  Hopefully, someone can help.  I'm in no way a pro but I do use Home Designer pro quite a bit.  I have an angled half wall butting against a full-height wall.  I want the but end of the full height wall to stay square but Home Designer has some other idea.  I appreciate the help (see attached image)

Thanks!

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Certainly.  I'm using Home Designer Pro 2021 and I turned on the signature as you asked.

That may be the most confusing image I've seen here.

Here is a guess. You can sometimes use a short Room Divider wall in between two intersecting walls to control the intersection.

Thanks Ned. Please add Home Designer Pro 2021 as that's what's most important.

Tried the room divider with no luck.  It does other wired things to the intersections.  I attached another picture.  Hopefully, it's not as confusing.

Something like this may be the best the program will do.

You can fill in the gap to complete the railing wall.

Or you could model the railing wall with a slab or custom countertop etc.
