ioanwill
I'm building a set of stairs and wish for the wall to remain above them but not below. Is it something to do with the balustrading type? I can easily build the stairs to have the wall remian below and eliminated above but dont know hoe its achieved visaversa? DavidJPotter
When you say "wall to remain above them but not below." it is not clear what you are asking, walls can be next to, under, around stairs for various purposes. You need to also post screen shot image of what you are getting that you do not want or an image of what you do want versus what you are currently getting or some way to clarify and concisely state what you what to do and why. Elovia
Welcome to the forum, ioanwill. Are you looking for tips to create the stairway walls similar to shown in the image below? If so, place an inverted wedge from the shapes library adjacent to where the stair railing otherwise shows, and in the stair's specification dialog check the "open underneath" option on the styles tab. You will need to adjust the wedge to get it to seamlessly fit the stair angle and to be flush with the stair's underneath surface. Hope this helps.
