Cabinet Side Panel Design

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to modify the side of base and wall cabinets from the standard flat side to other designs that match the front panels or have some form of a beveled (single or double) design?

Answers (like this one) often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

In Chief Architect and Home Designer software, generally speaking, one can do what is possible by way of the Cabinet Specification Dialog for individual existing cabinets including door style or type.

The best way to handle this is to open "Edit - Default Settings - Cabinets" and then set all majority settings per cabinet type including dimensions, material assignations, door and drawer style, and type before creating cabinets in a plan file.

The choices available as Eric implied is variable from software title to title and version to version thus my general answer above. Your choices will be limited to the software title and version that you have.
