oldtimer78 0 Posted July 30, 2019 I'm designing an RV garage attached to a guest house. Can I delete the second floor joists in the RV garage so that the building is open to the roof?
solver 619 Posted July 30, 2019 Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. ---- Resources for self help: The built in Help System (always a good place to start) Getting Started Knowledge Base YouTube
solver 619 Posted July 30, 2019 Why do you have a 2nd floor over the RV garage if you do not want it?
oldtimer78 0 Posted July 30, 2019 I'm using Home Designer Suite 2020. I am professional drafter using AutoCad. I am totally new to this type of program. The walls of the RV garage are about 18' high plus or minus, and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the height of the walls beyond single story, so when I generated the second floor I ended up with unwanted floor joists. I want to keep the top plates where they are, I just want the joists deleted.
