I am trying to design a bar area and when I insert an undercabinet beverage center, I lose my countertop in that location and can't get it back. What am I doing wrong. I made sure it was undercounter?

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using.

You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on, then see mine for an example) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

It's helpful to know what appliance you are using, and how you are placing it. If it's not in a cabinet you will not have a countertop.

Also good to post your plan file so someone can take a look if needed.

Ok thank you. I am still trying to figure this program out. I have the Cheif Architect Software, Home Designer Pro 2018. I am not sure what the X7, X8 etc mean.

I thought I tried putting the undercounter beverage center in a cabinet and it would not let me.... Hmmm. I will look at the resources you gave me and keep trying. Thank you.

Here is a video I made that may -- or may not help.

Also with Pro, you have the Custom Countertop tool (read in Help about it). So you can add a countertop where needed.
