jlweaver 0 Posted February 3, 2019 I've been trying for days to use "Room Divider" to close off a Dinning Room that has a open wall on one end. No matter what I do, including putting real walls in there, the program is not recognizing it as a "room", and thus and can't make any room related adjustments (ceiling height, moulding, etc.). I've looked through the training videos and the process seems straight forward but it's just not working. Any clues as to what I might be missing or doing wrong. I'm using Home Designer Architectural 2017, Build 18.3.2.2OSX. I've attached the file if anyone believes they can be of help. Thank you! solver 630 Posted February 3, 2019 I see you said Architectural, but answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on, then see mine for an example) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. ---- Resources for self help: The built in Help System (always a good place to start) Getting Started Knowledge Base YouTube
solver 630 Posted February 3, 2019 I'm going to guess that one of more walls has No Room Definition checked.
jlweaver 0 Posted February 4, 2019 BINGO! That was it. One of the walls had "No Room Definition" checked. Thank you so much for your help, Eric!
