Kevin_Maloney
I'm a newbie with chief architect, but I have read the manual, and spent quite a few hours trying different ways of getting my roof to work. Without success... The house has two , single storied cabins at a 45 degree angle, with a two storied atrium/glasshouse between them. There is a mezzanine floor, which should have views in all directions. I've attached three screenshots from sketch up. I'm having trouble with defining the side walls on the atrium - they have a tendency to not meet the roof. I've defining the roof as a drop roof. In the file attached, the roof of the atrium does not draw at all (although I think I've correctly defined the gable and high shed sides). Any advice on defining the sloping glass roof, and dealing with the gable sides would be gratefully received. Untitled 1.plan

solver
I don't know how to do the roof in Suite. Looks like you are skilled in SketchUp, so consider making a symbol of the glass and side walls, then importing into Suite.
