WayneVC
Is there a way that I can create a terrain and then place different plans on it in Architectural?
solver
You could create a terrain only in a plan, make copies of the plan and add different houses to each.
WayneVC
Eric, Thanks for helping a newbie! I have fixed my signature settings. WRT your good suggestion: is there a way to then either import one of the copies into an existing plan that does not have a terrain defined or, alternatively, copy a plan into the terrain plan. I have several different design variants and I don't want to have to redraw each one into a site plan. Wayne
solver
It may be as simple as a copy/paste operation. Research Edit Area. Also Paste/Hold Position.
WayneVC
Thanks, Getting there, slow but sure. The answer does seem to be Edit Area, then a copy/paste sequence. I have to figure out how to position and scale the two objects in advance, as they (obviously) become part of the same plan once the paste occurs and are no longer simple objects that can be independently moved /scaled.
