bddemers
I am building a driveway on a steep lot. I am trying to keep the slope to 12%. When the driveway turns at the switchback it is very steep. What is the best way to control that slope on my plan? I don't want it level, I just want to maintain a 12% or less grade. Obviously it naturally gets steep at the turn because it's turning straight down the steep slope. I also want to make that turn area wider than the rest of the driveway. Can I make a poly line area the shape I want and then convert that to a terrain area and then add elevation data to control the slope? Thank you for any help. DavidJPotter
Post a copy of your plan please, your question can't be properly addressed without it, since this is a practical problem and not just a setting. DJP

bddemers
Wow, thanks for making the video. Like you said, just tinkering around and trying different things and checking with the camera after every change is the way to go. I think I have it softened much better. Good enough for the building department anyway. Thanks again DJP, Brian D Schluersburg PLAN Newest 2 OCT '18.plan
