Importing and using an plan (dxf) from an architect

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I'm new to architect pro and have a dxf from an architect which I have imported.

On the page are several views typically found in a set of blueprints.

Can I use these as a base to start building out interior designs and landscaping?.  If so, what is the best way to begin.  Do the views have to be split up?

Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. (there is no architect pro)

You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see mine for an example) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left.

Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it.

And, turn on signature display too.

Without seeing exactly what you are speaking of, no useful advice can be offered other than to show us what you are talking about. Like Eric said, saying what software you are using is vitally important (there is no such program as "Architect Pro" within the line up of Chief Premier or Home Designer.
