Defaults & Cad Lines

I am using Home Designer Pro 2015

I am trying to make a plumbing plan for a building. I have used cad lines to draw in piping for plumbing, the problem is that when I print it out I would like the lines to be a heavier weight.

I know I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other, but try as I might I can not find a way to change the default setting for the cad line weight. It would be so much easier than selecting every line individually.

Thanks in advance,

Currently, the oldest version of Home Designer Pro I have is the current version (2018) but never the less, yours should be essentially just like my copy, in regards to line weights. Even your older version comes with a Reference Manual. If you were to open it and search for the subject of "Line Weights" you would discover that lines weights can be edited per payer in your "Layer Display Options" dialog for the plan view Layer Display Options dialog. There is a column called "Line Weights" that you can increase of decrease the line weight value for any given layer in the Plan View Layer Dialog. For a visual check, they have provided a "Show Line Weight" tool and icon for visually displaying line weights so you can evaluate the relative lightness and darkness of said line weights on screen. This also is explained in detail in your Reference Manual and Help files, which should be your first destination when you become curious about how something is done or how something works in this software.

Review your Layer Display Options, and make sure line weights are on.

Thank you for replying.  Using your suggestion, I drew several lines in blue for cold water lines, then changed the layer color to red for hot water lines, and all the blue lines turned to red.  But, changing the colors and weight by using (open object) each of the lines retain their color and weight.  Thanks again for trying.
