  1. Thank you for replying. Using your suggestion, I drew several lines in blue for cold water lines, then changed the layer color to red for hot water lines, and all the blue lines turned to red. But, changing the colors and weight by using (open object) each of the lines retain their color and weight. Thanks again for trying.
  2. I see two places that I can turn on (display line weights) one in preferences , one in view drop down.

This shows the weight of the line as a thickness on the screen.

What I want to do is change the default weight from 18 to 30. Like you can go into default settings and change text from blue to red or size from 6 to 12 and then when you click on text the settings are saved.

  3. I am using Home Designer Pro 2015 I am trying to make a plumbing plan for a building. I have used cad lines to draw in piping for plumbing, the problem is that when I print it out I would like the lines to be a heavier weight. I know I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other, but try as I might I can not find a way to change the default setting for the cad line weight. It would be so much easier than selecting every line individually. Thanks in advance,
  4. Does anyone know of a way to change the default of the cad line weight in Home Designer Pro 2015.

I would like to not have to change it every time I draw a new line. It is currently set to a default of 18

    Thanks in advance.
