almckay
Home Designer Pro 2017 When I convert a Layout to PDF the definition is terrible with small letters unreadable and blurry lines etc. I'm using DPI 4000. I need to print to A2 size so I have to use an external printing company. I initially took the Home Designer Pro files but they couldn't read the format and told me to convert to PDF. The PDF result of far from acceptable. Appreciate any guidance please.
DavidJPotter
What PDF application (printer) are you using? I always get high-resolution copies using either "the provided "Save as PDF" or "Cute PDF", been using those for years with no problems at all, ever. almckay
Hi David I'm using Save as PDF on my iMac (2017 with all latest Safari upgrades and Adobe upgrades current). What is strange is that part of the PDF is legible while some is not as if I'm running out of storage or something. Tried to upload it but this forum only permits 25MB which is not much for a site plan...
DavidJPotter
Contact Chief Architect/Home Designer Tech Support. They may be able to help you out. DJP
Westhousing
Hello, I am having this same issue. Did you ever figure out how to fix it? My lines looks so clear and sharp but when I save as pdf through "Chief Architect save as PDF" the lines look blurry and the text is not sharp. Even when I change the DPI to the maximum setting. I just contacted technical support as well.
