Creating Acoustic Absorption Panels

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone!
I purchased the CA Suite recently to work on a project.  I've done CAD design before, but CA is a new venture.
What I'm looking for is a means of creating acoustic sound absorption panels.  The goal is to create panels of the size and fabric style given by an acoustic specialist.  It is for looks to put into my building to simulate what the end result will look like.  Any thoughts on how to do this?
Regards,

Henry

Only if you can show us what they look like.

1) Please fill out your Signature -- see below.

It helps if we know what title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2014, 2015 etc) you are using. You can add this info to your signature by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and this info is often key to providing a good suggestion

The built in Help System (always a good place to start)

Hello Solver,
Being a newbie to the whole CA world, I shall update my information.
The designer is specifying panels in various dimensions, such as 3'x8', 3'x3', 4'x4', etc. with a thickness about the size of insulation batting (~2.5" thick).

Thanks,

Henry

Soffits are a generic tool that work for many things, and would be easy to use for your panels.
